Peace World. Check out the new project from Hazewerth (of Dynamite Bruhz) entitled ‘JugLife Too’ put out by the good folks of Salem Psalms. Last week, I posted the 1st single Feelin’ Good’ featuring me & Scottie Spittin’ of H.I.S.D. now you can stream or buy the entire album.

As you may have figure out by reading the title, the theme of the album is drinking (alcohol) or ‘drankin’ and the role it plays in our everyday lives. Fans of The Liks and soulful/mellow Hip Hop will enjoy the record. My favorite track on the LP is ‘Beautiful Brain Damage’ and features Know:juander & Sha Stimuli. Dope story telling and I respect it because although the album makes light of something that has ruined a lot of people lives, this track comes along and reminds you it’s nothing to play with. Balance.

Besides a hand full of dope songs, there are several equally dope, if not superior instrumental tracks. Read below for more details…

Hazewerth of the production duo The Dynamite Bruhz waited 2 years before releasing the sequel to his seminal album JugLife, his musical interpretation of big jugs of liquor and good times. The new project JugLife Too is a combination of R&B vibes and hip hop blaps featuring Substantial, Willie Evans Jr, Sha Stimuli, Scottie Spitten of H.I.S.D., Yamin Semali, Phene, Civil Writes, Know:juander, Chosen, and Dj Deliver.
Hazewerth is a Soul, Hip Hop, and R&B producer from Atlanta, Ga. He has produced music for artists like Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest, Planet Asia, Focus… (Aftermath), Sha Stimuli, Jamall Bufford, Skyzoo, Torae, StaHHr, Big Pooh, Boog Brown, Rhapsody, and many others. His sound takes elements from great producers of soul and hip hop like Barry White, J Dilla, and Willie Hutch (to name a few) and combines them into a smooth sound.

Enjoy. Stay in Peace.

P.S. Art Is Where The Home Is drops in a few hours! Stay tuned.
