[NEWS] Bop Alloy Cover Art Contest: UPDATED

Peace World. A week ago, I asked on the Bop Alloy FB page if you all were interested in a Cover Art Contest and a a lot you responded “Yes” or “Hell Yeah!”. So here’s your chance!

Bop Alloy is pleased to announce its The R & RCover Art Contest. Fans inspired by our music are encouraged to submit artwork representing their interpretation of our sound. The winner’s artwork will be featured on the cover of our 1st ever remix project, The R & R (Remixes & Revisions), to be released December 2012. The winning artist will be listed in the album credits and his or her’s online portfolio will promoted across the internet via our official site’s and blogs. In addition, the winner will receive a cash prize of $300, autographed copies of the new release & debut album,early digital copy of The R & R,Bop Alloy T-Shirt, & free admission into a future Bop Alloy show.

• The deadline for submissions is Friday, November 4, 2011.
• Final artwork specifications are: 5.5″ x 5″ (Resolution: 300 dpi). File format should be compatible with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator CS5.
• Download our logo & reference photos*. (Right click & save) *Final artwork has to include our logo. Remember you don’t have to use the actual photos, just the colors in them.
  
• Email submissions to BopAlloy[at]gmail[dot]com. Initial submission can be low resolution. But if selected you must submit final art in specifications listed above.
• Runner up receives an early digital copy + autographed copies of the new release & debut album.

Is there a limit to how many I can submit?
No. 

Should I include the title on the cover?
It would be nice. But, if the cover art works well without it, then it may not be necessary.

If I win, when and how will I get paid?

[PETITION] 12 Year Old Jailed For Life?

As a youth worker, nothing troubles me more than seeing a young person who’s parents have failed them and now the legal system could potentially fail this young man in this case. Please sign this petition to keep Cristian Fernandez from being jailed for the rest of his life and pass it on. If you are able to do more, please do so.
